The scale is my friend again ;)

Those 2 lbs I complained about? Gone…plus 1 more! I have met my next reward - Victoria’s Secret perfume & lotion :)  Now I just have to wait for the weekend to come so I can go to the mall and get it. lol

Oh, that reminds me - I need to post my weightloss rewards. I will tomorrow, I’ve got to get to sleep!

Well, crap!

The 2 lbs that came off during my “week of rest” have come back. Aaahh! I’m joining the WildCats, so I better get my booty in gear and get those lbs off for good to help the team! Hubby has the TV occupied with video games right now, so I’m setting the alarm clock and I’ll see if I have the energy to get up early to workout. If the baby gets up too much tonight, I will do my workout after Biggest Loser tomorrow night.

To all the runners out there…

I NEED HELP!! My lifetime goal is to run a marathon. But…I don’t know where to get started! We don’t have the money for a gym membership or to buy a treadmill. I’ve heard that C25K is a good way to get started, but I don’t have a stop watch or anything to time intervals. Is it possible to go to the local track and just run as much as possible? I’m desperate to get started running! Please help! :)

I figured this would happen :(

I gave up on Slim in 6. I was so frustrated that, even though I would workout to the point of nausea, I was not losing weight and barely losing inches. So this past week (which is also a nasty PMS week..) I gave up caring about every little thing I put in my mouth and didn’t work out at all. I knew I would get to this point, because that’s my MO. I start out strong for a while and then I throw it all away.

What I didn’t plan on, however, was losing 2 lbs during my little hiatus . How did that happen? However it happened, I’m so grateful for it, because I would have spiraled down quickly if I had gained much. (I expected to gain 2-3 lbs.)

Does anyone have any ideas on why I wasn’t losing weight before? I was eating 1,000 - 1,200 cal/day and doing the Slim in 6 workouts for 63 min/day. I’d really like any input! I think that I’m going to go back to doing the Biggest Loser, Tae Bo, and Pilates workouts that I used after my other kids.

Week 1, Day 5

Well, I didn’t get any water in today :( Also was 1 serving short on my fruits/veggies. AND - I didn’t get my workout done either.

I went to see my friend’s baby girl, Melody, tonight instead of working out. I’m glad I did - she’s an angel! My baby looks huge in comparison to little Melody who is not even 5 lbs yet! (My baby is around 9 lbs)

Tomorrow is a new day :)

Week 1, Day 4

No births to report for today! LOL

I got NINE glasses of water in today!! I think the only other time I’ve done that is right after delivering my babies. I also got all of my fruits/veggies in.

Completed my workout - another 63 mins for today.

I talked with my sister, who I’m staying with for Thanksgiving, and she said she has enough room for me to do my workouts at her house. BUT, she said she won’t make healthy food for Thanksgiving dinner. So, I’m going to have to find some yummy recipes and sneak them in there. Any suggestions?

Anyway - on to my day lol

Another close friend of mine had a baby today. His name is Caden Robert, he was 5lb 11oz and is in the NICU right now. Please add him to your prayer list if you have one! Thanks so much :)

I am about to finish my last 2 cups of water and got all of my fruits/veggies in. Also just finished my workout. I advanced from the “Start it Up” workout to the “Ramp it Up”. I felt like I was going to throw up a couple of different times.  :/   I also did the “Slim & Limber” workout, so I got a total of 63 min in today. Looking forward to tomorrow!

Does anyone need prayer for anything in particular?

Week 1, Day 2

One of my very good friends had her 1st baby this morning!

Other than that, it was a pretty uneventful day. I did my workout, drank all of my water, and ate all of my fruits/veggies.

Looking forward to another day :)

Week 1, Day 1

I had a very difficult day at work and went on a wild goose chase this evening to the pumpkin patch in wind and rain. Come to find out there was so much wind damage, I couldn’t get the 53 pumpkins I needed to for the daycare. :(    All I wanted to do was come home and veg on the couch in front of the TV. But, instead I put the kiddos to bed, fed the baby, and did my workout.

My core is strong, my legs feel long and lean - I’m ready to wrap up the day on a positive note. Maybe PM workouts aren’t the worst thing in the world. The important thing is that I got it done and I am proud of myself.

I got all of my fruits and veggies in, but only 2 cups of water… Will work on that one tomorrow!

Slim in 6, Re-start

I was doing the Slim in 6 program before getting the H1N1 virus a couple of weeks ago. I couldn’t do it while I was sick and by the time I was better, I lost my motivation! I’ve realized that trying to do an intense workout right before bed is not a good idea. I’m so tired after working 10 hours at the daycare and coming home to cook dinner and get the kids to bed. I really treasure the 1 1/2 - 2 hours of quiet time after the kids go to bed before I have to. It’s nice to relax and spend some time with my husband. So, tomorrow I’m going to try to get up early and see if I can get my workout done before the kids get up and I go to work. Hopefully this will work - I’m up at least twice a night with the new baby (and sometimes the other kiddos), so I’m crossing my fingers! If this doesn’t work, I will just have to go back to working out at night.
